Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Mare Barrow lives in the mythical country of Norta, which has been at war with its neighbors, the Lakelanders, for hundreds of years. Norta is divided into Reds and Silvers, Silver people having silver blood and superpowers, and Red people having red blood and none. Mare,a Red, not the sharpest knife in the drawer and a trouble maker, has always been destined to be sent to the bloody and pointless war because she is unemployed. But miraculously, she gets a job at the royal palace and suddenly ends up engaged to a prince. She does not know if she is Mare Barrow or Mareena Titonos, a poor girl or a princess, a traitor or a loyal subject. As a rebellion against silver rule rises, Mare is sucked in above her head and truly learns that anyone can betray anyone.
